General Description The Traconex TMP - 390 Traffic Signal Controller is a single - or dual-ring, 2- to 8 - phase NEMA intersection controller. It can operate in a semi-actuated, full-actuated, or column-density mode, or in combination of these modes, and as a stand-alone local controller or as part of central control. The TMP - 390 is microprocessor-based and built of the most advanced electronic circuitry. Using enhanced software, it provides unmatched operational flexibility to satisfy a wide variety of traffic control applications. The TMP - 390’s many fully programmable features allow the operator to configure it to carry out any control strategy, perform any function and run any option needed to operate an intersection. For ease of use and access, all controls, displays and connectors are on the TMP - 390’s front panel. For example, all options and features are selectable by means of a front-panel keyboard. Also on the front panel is a full-temperature-range, 40-character liquid crystal display (LCD). This alphanumeric display provides 24 characters per ring and shows all data in standard traffic-engineering mnemonic language and symbols. |
