Application The LC8000 is a 2-8 phase fully actuated NEMA controller unit useful in isolated, interconnected, or closed loop system applications. The LC8000 can be programmed for a variety of sequences, including single ring, dual ring, and combinations of single and dual ring. Dual ring phase pairs can be reversed during specified cycle/split combinations for pattern related lead/lag operation. Optional features such as coordination, pre-emption and internal time clock are available through use of a seperate module with its own connector, keyboard and display. The LC8000 is capable of closed loop system operation using communications over a 2 pair TDM FSK voice grade link. Description The LC series is modular in construction and uses two front panel keyboards and displays to program and read information. A printer unit is available to provide a hard copy of data stored in memory. The LC8000 meets or exceeds the requirements of NEMA standards TS1-1983 parts 13 and 14. Operation The LC8000 can directly plug into any new or existing NEMA compatible cabinet. With an internal yearly clock, 4 cycles/splits with 8 force offs and permissives, conditional service, delay detector inputs and pre-emption, the unit can be programmed to adapt to your traffic flow needs. |
