Crouse Hinds: Actuated Controller Units DM Series Application DM Series Controller Units are of solid-state digital design for use at intersections where there are wide variations in traffic volume. These units operate in conjunction with vehicle and/or pedestrian detectors to transfer right of way from one street, or phase, to another in response to traffic demand. DM Controller Units can be used in semi-actuated or fully–actuated applications. The DM200 Series is for two-phase operation; the DM400 Series is capable of two through four–phase applications; and the DM800 Series can be used for either sequential (single ring) or concurrent (dual ring) timing in two through eight phase applications. Exclusive pedestrian operation is also available in each DM controller unit. |
